Artist's Comments

The third installment of my latest series. I approached each one with a different painting style and the outcomes are fairly varied. What works best, I don't know. Still trying to figure all this fun stuff out.

Stunning Detail. I really like how her eyes and hair came out, along with the leaves. :D

COOL! OMG! Great colors! The red and green work great together. You are so good at coloring. Keep up the good work!

People think love is a complex thing, when in actuality, it is the simplest of all things. Nothing is more pure than it's true essence.

:butterflytwo: How could we have ever forgotten that? :butterflytwo:

Beautiful use of colour here, especially on the face.

Great skin tones, and the holly goes so well with it. I love your smooth coloring style here. It looks soft, yet you still have sharp lines where they need to be.

I think I like this one the best of the three. The colors are bold and more saturated, the face is more stylized and unique, and the plant elements are more a part of the image where in the brunette piece they looked a bit like an afterthought. Her eyes are gorgeous and alive. Beautiful piece!

Wow! This is beautiful. I love the colour in her face and how you drew the eyes. I like this style, and I think it'd be cool if you drew a few stray individual hairs, too. The foreground leaves are amazingly detailed!
:iconvioletice:
hooray, you finished it! The leaves and berries turned out real nice
